As Assistant Store Manager for our WRTW concession in Harrods, you will support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team while upholding the brand’s exceptional client experience standards. You will act as a role model on the shop floor, driving commercial results, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of elevated, personalized service. You will embody the brand’s values, inspire your team, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the concession.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Client Experience & Selling Performance: Lead by example in delivering exceptional, luxury client experience aligned with brand standards. Support the team in achieving and exceeding sales KPIs through strong floor management, coaching, and real-time feedback. Oversee and actively participate in clienteling efforts, ensuring the development of meaningful, long-term client relationships. Demonstrate advanced product knowledge in women’s ready-to-wear, including fabrics, craftsmanship, fit, and styling, and ensure the team maintains the same standard.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Assist the Store Manager in managing, coaching, and motivating the team to deliver consistent commercial and service excellence. Support in onboarding, training, and developing team members, ensuring alignment with brand values and performance expectations. Provide daily floor supervision, ensuring optimal team deployment, break schedules, and service coverage. Contribute to performance reviews, talent identification, and succession planning.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest level of visual and operational standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines and Harrods policies. Assist with stock management processes including deliveries, inventory control, stockroom organization, and shrinkage reduction. Oversee daily operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures, reporting, compliance, and cash handling. Ensure the concession adheres to all policies, health and safety regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Business & Boutique Management: Support the Store Manager in analysing business performance, identifying opportunities, and implementing action plans to drive continuous improvement. Monitor key metrics, CRM insights, and clienteling performance to enhance sales and client loyalty. Collaborate closely with Harrods’ management and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and alignment on operations and expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in luxury fashion retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior sales role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated success in clienteling and managing relationships with high-profile clientele.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and in-depth knowledge of women’s ready-to-wear.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance and drive results.
  • Confident and professional approach, with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced luxury environment.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week, including weekends, late nights, and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and clienteling platforms is highly desirable.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
