We are looking for a commercially astute Senior Merchandise Manager to lead our Merchandising Operations. This is a full-time role based in London and reports to the Director of Product & Merchandising.

About the Role
You will have the day-to-day responsibility for managing the Merchandising Operation to maximize commercial opportunities through effective management of inventory, driving sales through improved availability, forecasting, reducing markdown and maximizing profit.
Trading:
- Provide weekly summary of KPIs within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and previous year.
- Key contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility and the wider business.
- Oversee weekly stock sales and intake forecasts.
- Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimize risks and communicate to relevant departments.
- Management of the correct movement and forecast of inventory and allocations.
- Provide analysis and summary of promotional activity.
- Ensuring activity and event calendar for the business to prioritize launch and sale.
- Partner with other teams to improve performance and drive best practices.
Planning and Forecasting:
- Work with sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.
- Analyse every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, family or styles) and ensure that they reach their full potential and review cannibalization.
- Monitor slow sellers and take action to reduce prices/set promotions or discontinue products as necessary.
- Provide historical analysis to develop planning forecasts.
- Maintain planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandise Manager with strong commercial and analytical skills, able to propel our Merchandise Operation to the next level.
- Strong merchandising experience; industry experience would be a plus but not essential.
- Proven track record of delivering commercial success in high-growth, fast-paced businesses.
- Experienced in delivering a large volume of SKUs.
- Data-driven mindset, proactive in identifying risks and opportunities—and taking decisive action to resolve them.
- Commercially sharp and agile, confident making trading decisions at pace in a constantly evolving landscape.
- Highly analytical and innovative, with strong numerical skills and a genuine passion for product.
- Previous experience of stock management across multi sites using a stock control system.
- Impeccable standards and attention to detail.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in using NAV, JET and CUBE is preferential.
