We are looking for a commercially astute Senior Merchandise Manager to lead our Merchandising Operations. This is a full-time role based in London and reports to the Director of Product & Merchandising.
Tom Dixon is an iconic British design and manufacturing brand with a commitment to innovation. We design, develop, and sell extraordinary objects and spaces for everyday use, including lighting, furniture, and interiors.
You will have the day-to-day responsibility for managing the Merchandising Operation to maximize commercial opportunities through effective management of inventory, driving sales through improved availability, forecasting, reducing markdown and maximizing profit.
- Provide weekly summary of KPIs within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and previous year.
- Key contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility and the wider business.
- Oversee weekly stock sales and intake forecasts.
- Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimize risks and communicate to relevant departments.
- Management of the correct movement and forecast of inventory and allocations.
- Provide analysis and summary of promotional activity.
- Ensuring activity and event calendar for the business to prioritize launch and sale.
- Partner with other teams to improve performance and drive best practices.
- Work with sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.
- Monitor slow sellers and take action to reduce prices/set promotions or discontinue products as necessary.
