As a Business Development Representative at Tom&Co, your mission is simple: open doors with ambitious E-commerce brands and create high-quality opportunities for our growth team to convert. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our future clients, researching target companies, identifying decision-makers, and engaging them through tailored outreach. Success in this role will be measured by the volume and quality of qualified opportunities you generate, fuelling the next stage of Tom&Co’s growth.
If you have proven Lead Gen & Pre-Sales experience in an E-Commerce Agency or similarly compatible environment, we want to hear from you! Ideally, you will have experience selling Adobe Commerce (Magento) agency services to SMBs (£10M+), though this is not essential, providing you have exceptionally strong BDR/SDR skills and experience and are a fast-adapter and lead-generator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious & talented sales executive to join an established, award-winning London agency with a portfolio of recognisable brands. Reporting directly to our Head of Strategy & Growth for opportunity conversions, your focus will be purely on prospect identification, outreach, lead gen & pre-sales. This is not an account management or hybrid role, so you will be free to focus entirely on business development.
You’ll be based in our trendy Tower Bridge office 2 days/week with regular networking and industry event attendance in and around the UK, though mostly in London. We believe that work should be fun and that, as a team, we produce better work when people enjoy their job and are passionate about what they do. We’re looking for innovative, motivated team players to join us. Our client portfolio includes well-known brands such as Topps Tiles, Oliver Bonas, Agent Provocateur, with many more clients across various sectors, including Fashion, Homeware, Luxury, Gifting, Outdoors, Food, and Charity.

- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed lead generation and meeting-booking targets.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to balance multiple outreach streams.
Location

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
You will be part of an ambitious agency, experiencing rapid growth and working on the front line with exciting clients and close collaboration with our Leadership Team. We offer a scheme for personal self-development as we believe in growing our employees' potential to the full. There are lots of opportunities within the company to develop and increase responsibility and skill set. We have frequent team lunches, breakfasts and quarterly social outings. Tom&Co comprises teams that are cross-channel, so our exciting exchange program allows members of our UK and Poland teams to head on holiday to a destination of their choice together.
You will be joining a welcoming, friendly team with a good sense of humour. You will have 24 days of holiday, and bank holidays on top, and we even give you your birthday off to celebrate in style. What’s more, we offer flexible working hours and even a ‘Work from anywhere’ scheme that allows you the flexibility to work from abroad for up to four weeks per year.
OH AND ONE LAST THING…
We are committed to diversity within our team and encourage and support female, POC, LGBTQ+ and people of all abilities to apply to our roles. We are focused on involving more diverse individuals in all our teams, but especially in our technical teams, to do our bit to shrink the gender and diversity gaps in STEM.
