We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive Inclusion team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting young people who face challenges in their learning.
The successful candidate will work primarily within the main school, supporting pupils individually or in small groups to help them access the curriculum, engage in learning and experience success. Working closely with class teachers, you will play a key role in raising student attainment while promoting independence, confidence and social inclusion.
Experience supporting students with ASC or SEMH needs would be highly beneficial, particularly for those who may struggle with learning or social communication. Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE level (or equivalent) and may be interested in pursuing further relevant qualifications. Skills in speech and language, ASC or SEMH support are especially desirable at this time.
Working hours: Monday–Thursday, 8.15am–4.00pm (including unpaid breaks), totalling 29 hours per week. The working days are negotiable, but the daily hours are fixed. Actual salary: £19,774.00 per annum (4 days per week, term-time only).
