As a Senior Research Manager focused on financial services, you will play a key role in driving project success and leading client relationships alongside a dynamic team of researchers. This position is pivotal in delivering actionable insights for high-profile clients in a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects, with a focus on the financial services sector.
- Design research that meets project objectives in consultation with clients.
- Manage end-to-end, predominantly ad-hoc research projects, including survey design, data analysis, and results presentation.
- Analyze and transform data into clear, high-quality, story-driven reports and presentations that address clients’ research, commercial, and communication goals, whilst keeping in mind regulatory requirements.
- Maximize use of internal AI tools to enhance research delivery.
- Review deliverables from more junior members of the team.
- Work closely with internal operations teams to oversee survey deployment, data collection, and analysis processes, while managing timelines, budget and delivery efficiency.
Strategic Contribution
- Develop a strong understanding of client business needs, with the ability to deliver tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of consumer insights on topics such as new product/service development, Consumer Duty, communications testing and advertising campaigns.
- Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, pitches, and account growth initiatives as needed.
Your Profile
- 10+ years of experience in quantitative research, including UK and international studies.
- Knowledgeable in and passionate about the financial services industry.
- Proven expertise in designing, managing, and delivering complex ad-hoc research projects to answer business questions.
- Excellent analytical and storytelling skills with a focus on turning complex data into actionable insights and compelling presentations.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships.
- A results-driven, can-do attitude with a passion for research excellence.
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
