We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor to join a well‑established and skilled Private Client team in our offices in Northampton. This role is crucial to the success of our team who have a demanding workload. You will need to provide evidence of previous experience in assisting with the management of a team of fee earners and support staff. The successful candidate will be developing new clients and managing the existing client base. You must be confident in promoting yourself and the business via networking, local marketing and business development to ensure pipeline work for the Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for development and progression and to help build the team further and develop client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and administration of trusts
- Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Drafting of estate/trust accounts
- Attending clients in the office and visiting them in hospital, care home or place of residence
Additional Requirements
- Being able to work on your own initiative
- Assisting and training other members of your team – fee earners and support staff
- Attention to detail and excellent time management
- A methodical approach to work
- A professional, empathetic and attentive telephone manner along with first‑rate communication skills, both written and verbal are all imperative to this role as client contact will be considerable
- Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
