About the role

As a Baker, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen — preparing our signature baked goods, including our beloved Korean salt bread, and keeping the kitchen running cleanly and safely. Shifts start early in the morning — we’ll support you with transportation. What matters most is your energy: patience, curiosity, and a kind, confident presence that takes pride in the craft.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Food Prep & Baking — assisting in daily food preparation and baking activities to keep our bakery selection consistently high-quality.
  • Kitchen Care — maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and bakery area.
  • Safety Standards — adhering strictly to food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and quality controls.
  • Stock & Inventory — helping with inventory management, ingredient tracking, and proper stock rotation.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a warm, open, and positive personality — you enjoy being part of a team.
  • Communicate clearly and kindly, with fluent English.
  • Take pride in detail, organization, and the care that goes into baking — even in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Are curious about Korean culture and baking.
  • Are available to work 25–40 hours per week, including weekends, with early morning starts.

Desirable (but not required):

  • Previous experience in a professional bakery or kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A strong passion for baking and creating high-quality, artisanal products.

What this role offers:

  • Full baking and recipe training — no prior experience required.
  • Competitive hourly wage.
  • Support with transportation for early morning shifts.

What we offer:

  • A supportive team culture rooted in Korean hospitality.
  • Staff matcha, salt bread, and team tastings.
  • A peaceful, design-led space where hospitality is an art of care.
