An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Crafts Person (Mechanical / Plumbing) to work within our Estates Services team. The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum City & Guilds level 2 (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Plumbing / Building maintenance and possess a group A full current driving licence.
Experienced in all types of building maintenance, you will have proven knowledge of health and safety, good communication skills and remain calm under pressure. A CSCS card would also be an advantage.
Working a 37.5 hr week, you would be working across sites the Trust manages throughout the region; a van is provided for use whilst on Trust business. As part of the Estates team, you will also be required (following a period of induction) to participate in an on-call rota outside normal working hours, additional payments will be made for this.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID. You will be required to undertake reactive/planned maintenance and installation work in a variety of Trust premises, maintain high technical standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements by action and advice as necessary.
