We have the opportunity for a Bordereaux Analyst to join the Delegated Authority department here at Tokio Marine Kiln on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Technical Bordereaux Services Manager, you will assist in delivering a first-class service to the underwriting and claims team, ensuring that the Business has the data necessary to allow for timely and accurate reporting and data analysis on binder business.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely binder data entry into the Business's systems (Risk, Premium and Claims).
  • Submit relevant bordereaux to the Binder Bordereaux System for processing of data (Risk and Premium).
  • Create risk and premium mapping templates for new binders/sections.
  • Amend existing templates when needed.
  • Resolve validation errors on binder data and escape issues to Underwriters, Coverholders or the Delegated Underwriting Team as applicable.
  • Work towards improving binder's data quality over time through discussions with brokers, underwriters and claims.
  • Assist with the organization of Claims and Data Management Team inbox.
  • Escalate missing claims bordereaux submissions to the Claims Team.
  • Quality control of mapping templates from our outsourcing team for Claims Bordereaux.
  • Continually review and look to deliver efficiency and streamline process.

It is essential that the successful candidate is comfortable with the mapping and processing of Risk and Premium Bordereaux to a Bordereaux Management system. Knowledge of Risk, Premium and Claims Bordereaux and Lloyd’s V5.2 standards is also essential. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as an understanding of Delegated Authority and the London market. We are looking for a team player who is analytical with strong communication skills.
