The 2026 TMK Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme is now open for applications! We have six internship opportunities within our Actuarial & Analytics (A&A) team this summer. This 6‑week programme, starting Monday 6th July, provides a unique introduction to specialty insurance and how our A&A department leverages data, actuarial & analytics techniques, and technology to drive decision‑making.

Throughout the internship, you will collaborate with experienced team members, gaining practical experience, and contribute to meaningful projects. Outstanding performance could lead to a place on our Actuarial or Analytics Graduate Programme, starting September 2027.

Successful applications will get the chance to:

  • Dive into specialty insurance: Explore Tokio Marine Kiln’s product offerings – including cyber, aviation and life sciences products – and discover how the solutions we offer address complex client needs.
  • Understand what the A&A team does: Learn about the distinct roles the analytics, capital, exposure management, pricing, and reserving teams play, and see how they develop analyses and tools that inform decisions.
  • Deliver a value adding project: Collaborate with A&A team members to create or refine an actuarial or data analytics model, analysis, or process.
  • Expand your professional network: Connect with professionals across the company and gain broader industry perspectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in building a career in actuarial science or data analytics.
  • Currently in your penultimate year of a numerical or STEM‑related degree, or able to demonstrate technical aptitude through relevant experience or personal projects e.g. blog writing.
  • Some exposure to a programming language (e.g., R or Python) through studies or self‑learning.

Applications close on Friday 13th March 2026 at 11:59pm. Assessment days: Successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day at our London office on either Friday 17th April or Friday 24th April 2026.
