Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter – Portfolio Solutions to join our Portfolio Solutions team, where you’ll structure and underwrite portfolio-based deals across multiple lines of business and geographies. This is a highly collaborative role, working at the intersection of underwriting, data, and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and structure portfolio-based insurance solutions across diverse risks and distribution channels.
- Work with actuaries and analysts to understand client portfolios using actuarial and statistical techniques to inform underwriting decisions.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities through broker and client engagement.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identifying trends, aggregations, and optimisation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (actuarial, exposure management, claims, compliance) to deliver robust solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in the Lloyd’s market within underwriting.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with an understanding of portfolio dynamics.
- Confidence working with data, modelling outputs, and complex deal structures.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
