Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) are recruiting for a qualified Syndicate Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Syndicate Finance Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting for our managed syndicates. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team within the insurance sector, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain syndicate ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns
- Implement new processes to ensure that any reporting changes from Lloyd's and other internal or external parties are delivered efficiently
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance commentary
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls
- Liaise with auditors and key internal stakeholders
- Contribute to automation and system enhancements
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on accounting matters
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in Lloyd's/insurance accounting and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communicator with strong organisational skills
- Proactive, team-focused, and solutions-oriented
- Experience with Workday (desirable)
