Role Purpose:
TMHCC is seeking an experienced Solvency II Project Accountant to support the implementation of the Regulatory Data Store (RDS)-a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the quality, control, and visibility of regulatory data. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with PRA and EIOPA Solvency II reporting requirements during Phase 1 of the project.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Change and Solvency II reporting teams to deliver and develop the RDS.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and identify system improvements.
  • Replace legacy systems with RDS outputs and update documentation accordingly.
  • Reconcile RDS data with the ledger prior to each quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Provide feedback and share knowledge with the Solvency II reporting team.
  • Identify and escalate issues in current systems and contribute to solution development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Solvency II reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and data reconciliation.
  • Experience with system implementation and user acceptance testing.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
