Job Purpose:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Surety Team within a leading and highly profitable financial company. The team is successful, busy, enthusiastic, and highly motivated, taking great pride in delivering a high level of service. The role involves providing administrative and clerical support to the Credit & Surety Division and is based in an attractive out-of-town location with onsite parking. You will benefit from an excellent working environment, a competitive benefits package, and the opportunity for hybrid working following initial training. The ideal candidate will have excellent keyboard skills, a strong eye for detail, a confident and courteous telephone manner, and the ability to work quickly and accurately. Full training on Surety Bonds products and processes will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with incoming/outgoing Surety post
- Input and retrieval of data on a bespoke database (underwriting systems)
- Filing documentation into ImageRight (paperless filing system)
- Producing letters and invoices
- Assist as required with the delivery of various staff and corporate events
- Monitoring of the general department e-mail box and distribution of incoming e-mails as appropriate
- Cover main switchboard and reception desks as required
- General Office Administration
- Other reasonable duties as instructed by the Surety Administration Manager
Skills and Experience Specification:
Essential:
- Good command of English and numeracy
- Good keyboard skills, high level of accuracy is essential
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
