What You'll Do: In 2026 we will be offering internship placements in the following teams: Accounts Payable, Cash Accounting, Reinsurance Credit Control, Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Support & Delivery, and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Some of the things you could be doing are:
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Contribute toward month end financial reporting and close processes.
- Support financial analysis and data‑driven insights to help guide key business decisions.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gain exposure to various areas of the business, including underwriting, claims, and operations.
- Analyse financial trends, assist with audits, and provide administrative support to the finance team.
- Help support projects and areas of automation/ process improvement, including documenting processes.
- Support the 'people side' of finance, such as onboarding finance new joiners and supporting training and development across finance.
What We're Looking For:
- Passion for Finance: A strong interest in finance, accounting, or economics and a desire to learn more about the field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present ideas clearly and work effectively in a team setting.
- Proactive and Motivated: Eagerness to learn, contribute, and take on new challenges.
Qualifications: Currently studying a relevant degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics) with a strong academic track record. Previous work experience is not required, but a genuine interest in finance and insurance is essential.
