Qdos, a division of Tokio Marine HCC, focuses on the sale of Insurance and Consultancy services to UK-based freelancers and contractors. Qdos specialises in business insurance and employment status for the self-employed, offering compliance advice to UK limited companies, sole traders, recruitment agencies, and the businesses that engage them. It is based in a purpose-built office in rural Leicestershire with a flexible working policy and community engagement opportunities.
Job Purpose
Lead Qdos’ commercial client relationship strategy, strengthening engagement, retention and revenue growth across our IR35 and employment status compliance portfolio, while also overseeing the Account Management team to ensure a high-quality, insight-driven service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop strategic relationships with key commercial clients, acting as the senior point of contact and commercial lead across service delivery and new opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth across the client base through targeted cross-sell, up-sell and expansion activity aligned to client needs and Qdos’ broader consultancy and compliance offering.
- Lead, coach and develop the Account Management team, embedding best practices in client engagement, proactive relationship management and commercial performance.
- Embed a consistent account management methodology, including frameworks for onboarding, service reviews, communication cadence and value reporting.
- Work closely with Professional Services and Service Delivery leads to ensure client expectations are met and that service quality supports commercial retention and expansion.
- Monitor client satisfaction and relationship health, intervening proactively in at-risk accounts and driving service improvements where necessary.
- Lead on commercial reporting, including revenue forecasts, client growth trends and engagement metrics for senior leadership visibility.
- Represent Qdos in strategic client meetings, industry forums and where required, contribute to commercial proposals or tenders.
- Support the Commercial Services Team and other company departments as required.

You have
- Proven experience in a senior account management or client success leadership role in recruitment, managed services or broader contingent labour supply chain.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience growing revenue from an existing client base.
- Experience owning or supporting strategic B2B relationships in a service-led environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing and mentoring a client-facing team.
- Strong familiarity with CRM and reporting tools (e.g. Salesforce, Power BI).
- Knowledge of IR35/off-payroll working rules, contractor compliance or employment tax.
- Experience in professional services, insurance, tax or recruitment/staffing sectors.
- Exposure to commercial proposal development and client retention strategy.
