Overview
Job title: Operations Administrator (Known internally as Bond Administration Assistant)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Rearsby, Leicester (onsite parking available)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Flexibility in start and finish times: 8:30-9:30 and 16:30-17:30)

Job Purpose
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Surety Division of a leading and highly profitable financial company. The Surety Team are very successful, busy, enthusiastic, highly motivated and pride themselves on the high level of service they provide. Main duties are to provide support to Clients, Brokers and TMHCC & TME Underwriters (who work from many different locations across the UK and EU) in the underwriting, processing and ongoing administration of Surety Bonds, such as Construction Bonds, Custom Bonds and Pension Guarantees. Full training on Surety Bonds processes will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Input and retrieval of data on a bespoke database (underwriting system)
- Filing documentation into ImageRight (paperless filing system)
- Retrieval of financial information from Companies House and Other information providers
- Inputting terms on underwriting system and preparing quote letters
- Preparation and checking of legal documentation
- Assisting with departmental incoming/outgoing post
- Monitoring of the general department e-mail box and distribution of incoming e-mails as appropriate
- Dealing with customers and insurance brokers enquiries and queries by telephone
- Producing Invoices and Premium Advice Notes
- General Office Administration
- Other reasonable duties as instructed by the Surety Administration Manager
Qualifications
- Good command of English and numeracy
- Good keyboard skills, high level of accuracy essential
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and courteous telephone manner
- Good organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
