The predicted salary is between 37280 - 47181 £ per year.

Grade 7/8 £37,280 - £47,181 per annum, plus an Essential Car User Allowance: £1,239 per annum and 2% Recruitment and Retention Allowance paid monthly. Permanent Full time 37 hpw.

About the role

You will work closely with a small caseload of around 13 families to undertake regular intervention with parents around their unborn and newborn babies to create safe plans for babies. You will carry out pre‑birth and post‑birth assessments of parents within Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO and Court procedures and undertake direct work and family support work with families. To work in accordance with established policies and procedures of Together for Children and Sunderland Safeguarding Board. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
