About the Role
This is an exciting time to join the Kinship Team within an Ofsted-rated Outstanding, Independent Fostering Agency - Together for Children Fostering Sunderland. Established in April 2017, we provide fostering and kinship carer services for children and young people in Sunderland. We aim to innovate and improve outcomes for children and families, especially those under Special Guardianship Orders.
Candidate Profile
We seek a skilled, experienced non-qualified worker with a passion and drive to support children and young people in Sunderland. The main responsibilities include managing the duty service, supporting kinship carers and Special Guardians post-Order, and promoting ongoing support to children and their families.
Team and Benefits
You will work within an experienced, supportive team established in 2019, focusing on kinship care services. We provide laptops and mobile phones for flexible working. A career progression scheme, underpinned by professional development, is available. The role requires travel, a valid driving license, and access to a car.
