As a Senior Business Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and support business applications, AI solutions, and process automations using Microsoft Power Platform and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will transform manual and complex processes into secure, scalable, and maintainable digital solutions that improve colleague productivity, operational efficiency, governance, and customer outcomes.
You will act as a technical consultant within the team, providing expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, and Microsoft AI services. You will help establish engineering standards, promote best practices, mentor colleagues, and ensure solutions are delivered in line with Group Technology Services governance, security, and operational support requirements.

- Deliver Power Platform & AI Solutions – Design, build and support applications, automations and AI solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
- Improve Business Processes – Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver secure, scalable digital solutions.
- Develop AI Capabilities – Create and support AI-powered applications, workflows and copilots that enhance colleague and customer experiences.
- Ensure Governance & Compliance – Deliver solutions in line with technology standards, security, data protection and support requirements.
- Integrate Business Systems – Connect Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, business systems and APIs to enable seamless digital services.
- Support Live Services – Maintain secure, reliable and well-supported solutions, following ITIL and change management processes.
- Manage Vendors & Platforms – Oversee vendor relationships and SaaS platforms to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide Technical Expertise – Act as a subject matter expert, supporting solution design, delivery and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Engineering Standards – Support estimation, testing, peer reviews and best practice adoption.
- Develop Team Capability – Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to build team expertise.
- Support Service Continuity – Participate in out-of-hours support as required.

- Identity & Access Management (IAM) – Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC and identity lifecycle management.
- SaaS Integrations & APIs – Integration using APIs, connectors and automation platforms.
- Monitoring & Observability – Azure Monitor and service monitoring tools.
- User Experience Optimisation – Digital experience monitoring and usability improvement across M365 and SaaS platforms.
- Change Enablement – Training, communication and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption.
- Licensing & Cost Optimisation – Power Platform, M365 and SaaS licensing, utilisation and cost management.
- End User Support – User support and issue resolution.
