Job Description
As our new Senior Business Analyst, you will be sat within our AI team.
You will be working on some really exciting and transformative AI/ Automation driven projects.
However, the breadth of work is wide and also consisting of more 'traditional' business analysis as you continue to play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and documenting business requirements, ensuring that solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
By working closely with stakeholders, SME’s, delivery teams, and product owners, you will ensure that business goals are clearly understood, effectively communicated, and successfully translated into actionable outcomes throughout the project lifecycle
Typical duties include
- Business Analysis
- Gather, analyse, and manage requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business goals.
- Define scope, support estimation, and contribute to business case and delivery planning.
- Document processes, business rules, and key artefacts, driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct DPIAs and DPAs to ensure regulatory and data protection compliance.
- Delivery
- Support roadmap planning, backlog prioritisation, estimation, and delivery governance.
- Translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate agile delivery through story refinement, design validation, and cross-team collaboration.
- Lead sprint reviews, support testing and release readiness, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Production Support
- Provide application support, managing incidents, service requests, and issues in line with SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to enhance system stability.
- Support production releases, deployment verification, and early life support.
- Ensure compliance with operational and change management standards.
Qualifications
Although you will be supporting our Automation/ AI journey, we don't expect you to have previously worked on AI, we simply need a fantastic Senior BA who Utilises industry-standard tools and best practices to capture all technical, functional, and non-functional requirements within an Agile/Waterfall framework.
Apply appropriate techniques such as use cases, UML diagrams, and business/technical process maps to ensure requirements are clearly defined and actionable for the delivery team.
