As a Product Manager, you will work with the team to redesign and rebuild many of our products for better alignment with our new lending platform, which is due to be launched as part of our transformation programme. Alongside this, the team are continuing to manage the product set each day, enacting pricing changes and working with colleagues all over the business to identify future opportunities to improve the product set and drive lending performance.
As a Product Manager, we are looking for someone to:
- Ensure that our product set is designed to support customer needs and drive commercial performance, and that the product set acts as designed.
- Support effective risk management for products by identifying key risks and putting mitigants in place; ensuring good conduct is embedded in product design and performance.
- Complete periodic review and renovation of products, and lead innovation activity to meet emerging customer needs.
- Look for opportunities to continuously drive performance and improve products by gathering qualitative and quantitative insight into product performance.
- Lead initiatives to drive and measure commercial finance product performance, and the setting and monitoring of performance KPIs and customer outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and modern commercial environment. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Good operational knowledge i.e. knows how a business works, success indicators, where to look for/anticipate trouble.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication - internally and externally, one-to-one and in groups/presentations.
