As a Mortgage Process Administrator, you will be based in a lively sales environment within a team of 4. You will be providing support to the Auction Sales Team and be speaking directly to customers as you gather and collate/ ensure that we have all of the documentation and information required to process the customer's loan application. What you will be doing in more detail:

  • Accurately process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting, completing information on relevant systems and completing relevant fraud prevention checks
  • Provisionally underwrite and package new applications received, providing an initial case assessment and requesting any additional information required to progress to underwriting
  • Complete security checks with applicants where required, with a focus on fraud avoidance, ensuring timely investigation, escalation and reporting, to minimise the risk to the business and the customer
  • Accurately manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is accurately completed to ensure a smooth transition to underwriting
  • Proactively manage a pipeline of cases, ensuring that information is proactively requested from customers and third parties
  • Provide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levels

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and administration skills along with a keen eye for detail. Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

  • Administrative experience (Financial Services experience highly regarded)
  • Customer Service experience
  • Ability to assess and interpret information supplied e.g. bank statement
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment (not essential)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
