Job Description:
As a HR Business Partner, you will support the delivery of People initiatives across specific stakeholder areas within the business. Acting as a conduit between the business and the People team, you will play a key role in providing support, guidance and advice to people managers and leaders. You will guide your stakeholders on all core people processes and related matters throughout the colleague journey including organisational design, engagement activity, risk monitoring as well as supporting the effective delivery of a variety of projects.
As a HR Business Partner, we are looking for someone to:
- Support the delivery of cyclical activities and business unit people plans through initiatives and specific projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate the resource approval process, ensuring all requests are supported by appropriate business cases, aligned to budget, and compliant with internal governance frameworks
- Proactively analyse and interpret People data (e.g. attrition, diversity, performance, engagement) to provide actionable insights which support business decisions and drive business performance
- Assist in the delivery of performance calibration sessions and talent reviews, ensuring consistency and fairness across business units
- Support the identification and mitigation of people risks through activities such as succession planning and single person dependency/key business processes identification
- Promote a positive work environment through engagement action planning, employee experience initiatives, and a culture of inclusivity and diversity
- Provide coaching and feedback to colleagues at all levels to empower their development and drive high performance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience of operating as a HR Business / People Partner
- Proven experience of leading, advising and influencing stakeholders on a broad remit of people related topics
- Experience of supporting people related initiatives, including performance management and talent management processes
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively manage stakeholders at all levels
- Prior experience of working with a range of HR systems and tools (e.g. HRIS, engagement platforms, talent management platforms)
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
- Experience of working within a financial services or professional services environment
