About the Role
Bank Support Workers are required to work within The Together Trust’s children’s residential services across Greater Manchester, including Stockport, Manchester, Salford, and Bolton.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support, personal care and general assistance to young people in a caring home environment.
- Encourage and empower young people to develop confidence, self‑esteem and essential life skills.
- Assist permanent staff teams with their duties and participate in a range of activities and opportunities.
- Maintain flexibility to pick up shifts that fit into your study or work schedule.
- Support children and young people who have experienced trauma, difficult beginnings, learning disabilities, autism, or harmful sexual behaviour.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Some experience working in a similar care environment, or a genuine desire to kick‑start a career in the care sector.
- Strong motivation, flexibility and a passion for supporting people who access our services.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Successful applicants will undergo stringent recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS.
- Must complete additional mandatory training before starting; training will be supported by Learning & Development.
- Working Hours & Pay
Pay: £13.45 per hour. Time and a quarter for weekend hours – £16.82. Possibility of additional sleep‑in payment of £107.60 (depending on service).
