About the Role – Are you creative and passionate about helping individuals develop their skills? Are you driven to help someone reach their potential? Join our therapy team at Inscape House School as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist . Our specialist school supports children and young people aged 5 to 19 years with autism spectrum conditions and related social communication difficulties. Lead clinical supervision and management within the Speech and Language Therapy Team. Develop policies and procedures in your area of clinical specialism. Manage a caseload of pupils with complex needs, supporting families and carers. Conduct initial assessments of pupils\’ speech, language, and communication skills. Develop therapy recommendations at universal, targeted, and specialist levels. Provide advice, consultation, and training to pupils, school staff, and families. Deliver bespoke support for pupils requiring specialist input. Make clinical decisions regarding therapy input and deliver or support others in delivering it. Use data to monitor progress and implement evidence-based intervention strategies. Degree (or equivalent) in Speech & Language Therapy. Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area. Member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists with completion of NQP Goals and Competencies Framework. Current registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Evidence of relevant postgraduate training (e.g., Experience working with young people and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions. Experience in providing clinical supervision.
