We are looking for a Specialist Community Support Worker with a positive and enthusiastic approach, who is friendly, a great communicator and eager to provide high levels of support to adults and their families. The role involves working as part of a team or independently, maintaining open and honest communication, and undertaking the full range of tasks in a well-planned way that respects and values children and their families. This service focuses on adults with disabilities or complex health needs, helping them to thrive in their local communities. Responsibilities
Join one of our supported living services in Blackrod, Bolton, to provide care and support that promotes independence and inclusion within the local community through methods including positive behaviour support. Help adults with disabilities or complex health needs to gain greater independence by teaching communication, choice and fulfilment, and support them to live independently or access opportunities to learn, work and participate in daily life.
Salary and Working Pattern
Salary: £24,700 (£12.67 per hour) – Living Wage; 25% pay enhancement for weekend hours. Sleep-in payment of £100.80 for any sleep shifts worked. Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, flexibly over five days; weekend working will be required. Applicants with a full driving licence preferred.
