The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, autonomous practitioner who enjoys combining direct clinical work, consultancy, and training, while contributing to the development of a progressive, multidisciplinary service. You’ll be an integral part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Advisory Teachers, PBS practitioners, Sleep Practitioners and others.
Responsibilities
- Delivering specialist speech and language therapy at Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels
- Supporting pupils with complex communication needs, including learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Providing consultation, advice and training to school staff, families and carers
- Advising on complex cases and supporting the development of junior colleagues
- Contributing to service development, audit and clinical governance
- Work flexibly in line with Service Level Agreements and play a key role in ensuring interventions are impactful, evidence-based and aligned with professional standards (RCSLT and HCPC)
You’ll be a confident, compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist who can work independently while collaborating effectively with others.

Qualifications
- Essential: A degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Essential: HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
- Essential: Significant post-qualification experience
- Essential: Experience working with children, young people or adults with complex needs
- Essential: Strong assessment, intervention and outcome-measurement skills
- Essential: Experience of multidisciplinary working and providing training
- Essential: Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Desirable: Working in specialist or educational settings
- Desirable: Clinical supervision and service development
- Desirable: Specialist training (e.g. AAC, dysphagia, mental health)
