Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey? We are seeking to recruit Educational Assistants within Inscape House School, a specialist day school for autistic children and young people aged 5 to 19 years. You will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping our students to overcome barriers and achieve success in an inclusive environment. Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a priority for all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, supportive and stimulating classroom environment
- Promote safeguarding and welfare of children and young people
- Support the classroom teacher in preparing resources and managing the classroom environment
- Assist with implementing individual education plans and learning materials to meet the needs of our young people
- Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping and organising learning activities
- Carry out other duties as required by the Trust or by the line manager and other senior leaders
- Promote wellbeing across the organisation, including mental health first aid and free weekly yoga sessions (in person or online)
- Access to the Employee Assistance Programme for you and adults in your home
