In-house legal role for the country’s largest non-bank lender. SQE qualification available. CLC qualification also available (Licensed Conveyance Lawyer). 4 new Paralegal roles available through company growth. Salary: Up to £35,000 plus annual performance bonus & benefits. Friendly team – professional and lively environment! Role based five days from our Cheadle Office in South Manchester.
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will work as part of our fantastic and highly skilled in-house Securities Team. Supporting all stages of the conveyancing process from pre-contract to completion, you will be reviewing and processing requests related to loan security both from internal and external parties across our Commercial and Residential loans. The Securities Team is responsible for mitigating risk and group exposure prior to loan approval by validating the proposal, together with the sustainability and enforceability of the loan post decision.

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, we are looking for someone to:
- Review, assess and process title documentation and make recommendations within company SLA
- Develop an effective working relationship with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the customer’s needs are met throughout the journey
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure security remains effective in all cases
- Make sure the company security related records are kept up to date
Qualifications
Essential
- Strong knowledge of Property titles and Land Registration procedures
- Legal experience relating to property
- Analytical/problem solving skills
- Effective communications skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisation skills
Desirable
- Commercial property experience
- Working knowledge of loan types
