Core Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify trends, risks, and insights
  • Attention to detail, with a structured approach to reviewing data, processes, policies, or controls
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain findings and recommendations to a range of stakeholders
  • Problem‑solving mindset, with curiosity to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and suggest improvements
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast‑paced or regulated environment
  • High standards of professionalism and integrity particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information

Qualifications:

  • Graduated in 2025 or are due to complete in 2026
  • Minimum achievement or expectation of a 2:1 degree
  • An interest and enthusiasm to work in the Financial Services industry
  • Able to commute to Cheadle on a daily basis; (the role is not remote)
  • A problem solving approach and a keen desire to learn new tools and technologies
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, basic analysis); experience with other tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or Tableau is desirable but not essential
