Job Description:
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Group. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of financial operations, streamlining financial processes and working to improve its value to the business. The oversight of the Group’s finance function will encompass responsibility and operational accountability for financial control, operations, planning and analysis, achieved through driving the function forward and the effective management and development of the finance team as well as working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly Group management accounts and reporting of the Group’s monthly performance against budget
- Production of monthly margin analysis, providing insightful commentary and analysis at both an individual project and company level
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and overhead analysis
- Oversight of the Group’s purchasing and stock management systems, performing frequent reconciliations and reviewing stock counts to identify and resolve any stock discrepancies
- Oversee the sales ledger and credit control function
- Responsible for the Group’s WIP reporting, driving recovery and cash conversion
- Production of the Group cash forecast, overseeing weekly bank reconciliations and approving payment runs
- Maintaining a strong control environment, in particular around costs, ensuring they are approved in line with the Group’s policies
