We take the time to understand our customers and our door is always open, so we can often help when other lenders can't or won't. Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, our 900 colleagues help our customers throughout the UK, backed by the power of a £7.8 billion loan book.
As a Product Owner at Together, you will be accountable for managing and refining the Product Backlog, shaping the vision to build a roadmap of work and balancing business viability and value. You will ensure the prioritisation of the Product Backlog enables the realisation of business objectives while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
Crucially, you will be supporting two key squads; Azure & Integrations Team and our Pipelines Team. The former is focused on managing and evolving our Azure estate and all third-party or internal service integrations, covering components such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Key Vault, Blob Storage, App Config, whilst ensuring our cloud foundations, messaging patterns, and integration services are secure, performant, scalable. The Pipeline Team owns the end-to-end route-to-live process, including AutoRabbit, AccelQ, as well as ncino/ Salesforce/ TMV pipelines, CI/CD workflows, release automation, monitoring dashboards, and continual improvements that maximise automation, reliability, and developer experience across the engineering lifecycle.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a role where change is key as we strive for best practice and move to fully automate our pipelines.
We are looking for a proven Product Owner with experience working with Azure Integrations and Pipelines in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to work closely with the Scrum Masters to ensure that teams are able to be proactive in their delivery and have the type of gravitas required to work with senior stakeholders. Further to Azure experience, candidates with experience working with Terraform and SalesForce, will be of particular interest. Crucially, this role will suit someone who has/wants to develop immature pipelines to a point where fully automated pipelines push code at low latency.
Essential skills also include the ability to:
- Demonstrate Pipeline experience; delivering cadence, speed and robustness with well controlled environments, auto checking code it moves through stages.
- Define and drive product vision and strategy, maintaining a value-led roadmap and prioritized backlog, and leading products through the full lifecycle from ideation to delivery and support.
- Lead Agile projects, sprint-based software delivery (Scrum/Kanban), working closely with development teams on software processes, APIs, third-party integrations, and multi-tenanted platforms.
- Communicate and manage stakeholders effectively, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Apply strong analytical, evidence-based problem-solving with a customer-centric mindset to interpret product analytics and solve business and customer problems, especially in Financial Services (mortgages and loans).
- Confidently use key product and productivity tools, including Azure DevOps/Jira/Miro/Trello, Power BI, and the MS 365 suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
If you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above, but not all, please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.
