Job Description
With the country's largest Financial Services Tech Transformation Project currently underway, we have much to do! Our Change Team is evolving and taking on more end to end responsibility. As such, we require an experienced Change Manager to support with changes associated with our new tech platform and the many changes that will follow post launch. Working within our small but highly skilled Change Team, you will be highly stakeholder focused and proactively seeking out effective ways to deliver and embed business change. You will be working hand in hand with our delivery trains and the operational business areas to effectively coordinate and deliver change across the division, whilst ensuring that the changes meet the needs of the business area from initiative capture; through requirement gathering and into delivery. You will also ensure that changes are communicated effectively and embedded within the division with impactful operational readiness plans and post implementation reviews.
Typical duties include (not limited to):
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure change initiatives support the overall strategy.
- Work with Product Managers and Business Owners to document robust Business Cases including Cost Benefit Analysis.
- Create detailed change plans outlining activities, timelines and resource requirements.
- Execute change plans, monitoring progress and adapting strategies.
- Work with teams to proactively manage and mitigate resistance, fostering a positive change culture.
- Ensure Process Governance is followed for any prioritised projects.
- Conduct "as is" and "to be" mapping.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will be a seasoned Change Manager with a strong focus on stakeholder management and previous experience working on large change programmes. Candidates who have process mapping qualifications and experience with BPMN will be highly regarded as will those with experience working within a highly regulated environment. Fundamentally, we are looking for:
- A strategic thinker who can also problem solve and work with stakeholders to agree appropriate solutions.
- An excellent relationship builder with an ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to balance/build strong relationships through all levels and roles.
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent presentation, communication & stakeholder management skills.
