Company Description
Charles Street Finance (\”CSF\”) is a specialist secured lender based in Cheadle, South Manchester. Established in 1983, we’re a small team but have doubled the size of the loan book over 2 years such that we are seeking to grow and enhance the existing personnel in key areas to further facilitate our ambitions.
We are all about a common-sense proposition built around attention to detail and speed of response whilst always putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. Job Description
As a Business Development Executive, you will be focused on generating new business opportunities by engaging directly with potential clients and introducers via phone, email and social channels. Your primary goal is to identify prospects, understand their funding needs and present our lending solutions clearly and confidently.
This is an outbound, proactive role suited to someone who loves talking to people, building rapport quickly, and is motivated by hitting targets and earning strong bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Proactively research and identify potential borrowers using LinkedIn, Companies House, Industry Social channels and other relevant online tools and databases
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and relationships across property investor, developers and business owners
- Make daily outbound calls to warm and cold prospects to introduce the Charles Street Finance offerings
- Send professional, engaging follow up emails to nurture interest and secure further conversations
- Work closely with senior team members to develop high quality opportunities
Qualifications
Essential
- A confident, proactive communicator who enjoys speaking with new people every day
- Strong written communication skills for high quality email engagement
- A \”can-do\” attitude with the resilience needed for outbound business development
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven and eager for success
- Ability to quickly build rapport and develop professional relationships
- Organised, disciplined and able to manage daily calls and email activity
Desirable
- Previous experience in a sales role such as estate agent, recruitment, telesales etc
- Interest in property finance, lending or real estate
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn prospecting or similar platforms
