This role is based at Scout Road Academy, 6 Scout Road, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge, HX7 5JW. Salary: Band C (NJC point 4) £18,923. Contract: Permanent and term‑time only. Hours: 32 hours per week in total (Monday to Friday 8:30 am–3:00 pm, plus two days per week 3:00 pm–4:00 pm for the After School Club Leader position). Opening times: start date as soon as your notice period allows. Closing Date: Wednesday 13 May at 9 am – the vacancy may be closed early if enough applicants are received.
Responsibilities
- You will support the teacher and pupils in a Year 5/6 class as a Learning Support Assistant and undertake Midday Supervisor duties during the lunchtime period.
- In addition, on two days each week you will take on the role of After School Club Leader from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- The position includes supporting pupils’ educational and care needs and helping to secure outstanding outcomes for all pupils in a safe, vibrant and happy school environment.
