Job Type: Part‑time 25hrs

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Community Worker to join our team. You will work closely with young people and community members. You will enable people of all ages to join the challenging but fun ‘Build a life’ project. This role is key to assisting individuals in identifying new challenges and building the skills to achieve them. The challenges are to develop life and social skills, with a big dollop of fun attached.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to young people, older individuals, and families
  • Deliver youth and community activities, workshops, and outreach sessions as part of a team.
  • Identify needs and connect service users with relevant support services
  • Build strong relationships with local partners, schools, and organisations
  • Promote inclusion, well‑being, and community engagement
  • Work on own initiative using out‑of‑the‑box thinking to bring new opportunities to people and the project.
  • Support your colleagues, build a strong team and have respect for each other's posts.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and case notes and be prepared to do presentations
