Outline of Key Responsibilities in the role...
- Lead the development and delivery of major investment and Net Zero programmes across the Group's housing stock.
- Develop short, medium and long-term investment plans, managing programmes, budgets, procurement and performance.
- Oversee stock condition, surveying and asset data to support robust investment planning and evidence-based decision-making.
- Lead the analysis and reporting of asset and energy data, using systems such as data warehouses and Power BI to provide meaningful insight.
- Work with internal teams, statutory bodies, local authorities and external partners to ensure programmes are compliant, well governed and deliver value for money.
- Support externally funded programmes and ensure all funding and regulatory requirements are met.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and ways of working to improve investment performance and drive innovation.
- Provide technical leadership, advice and guidance across the Investment team.
- Lead, motivate and develop professional teams, creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Represent the Group at sector, stakeholder and partner forums on investment-related matters.

- Proven experience leading planned investment, cyclical and responsive programmes within a social housing environment.
- Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects and delivering clear, measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience of stock condition and surveying activity within social housing.
- Experience managing investment programme budgets, procurement and financial performance.
- Strong experience using asset data, performance information and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leaders, statutory bodies and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of the social housing and asset management environment, including investment, Net Zero, construction, compliance and health and safety.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, written and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
- Strong project management, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience contributing to strategies, policies, business plans or investment programmes through research and strategic thinking.
- A Level 4 qualification in Construction, Property or a related discipline, such as HNC/HND, BTEC or equivalent.
- A Level 5 management qualification is desirable, alongside evidence of continuous professional development.
- A full driving licence and willingness to provide a vehicle for work purposes.

- 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays

- You will be required to attend other offices for meetings - Halifax, Wakefield, or Blackburn Office.
