As Assistant Director of Treasury and Development Finance, you will play a pivotal role in securing the financial strength that enables Together Housing Group to deliver excellent services and invest in affordable homes. You will navigate complex financial markets, manage risk, ensure compliance, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve outstanding results. Reporting to the Group Director of Finance, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, the Leadership Team, and the wider business to deliver strategic objectives and shape the long-term financial future of the Group.

Requirements Outline of Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Treasury Management function delivering insight, reporting, and strategic advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage cashflow, liquidity, and investment strategies, ensuring funds are available for short-, medium-, and long-term business needs.
- Oversee the Group's debt portfolio, maintaining strong funder relationships and managing security arrangements for new and existing loans.
- Ensure compliance with Group Financial Regulations, Treasury policies, and loan covenants, and maintain regulatory reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of treasury procedures, including loan rollovers, drawdowns, interest/fee payments, and statutory returns.
- Develop long-term financial plans and budgets, working with Senior Finance and Development teams to align business plans with the Corporate Plan.
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making and present findings to management, the Board, and funders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risk, maintaining effective risk management policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion, uphold Health and Safety standards, and ensure alignment with the Group's values across all activities.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACT) and management experience.
- Proven experience in treasury management, financial planning, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret and present complex financial information clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident engaging with funders, investors, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in BRIXX Financial Planning and familiarity with RSH business planning requirements.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Desirable: experience in housing associations or public sector finance, and familiarity with Open Accounts.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £75,658 per annum.
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays.
- Hybrid working - you will manage your week by dividing your time between working in our offices, on site and working from home.
- You will be required to visit our Blackburn office, located at BB1, approximately once a week following the initial induction.
- You will be working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday (occasional evening or weekend working depending on business needs).
- Working arrangements are flexible in line with our Smart Working culture so that we deliver an excellent and accessible service for customers.
