Joiner to join Repairs and Maintenance team to cover the Pendle area. You will provide all types of joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties with a customer service driven repair and maintenance service.

Requirements
- To carry out all types of Joinery repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice and Building Regulations as appropriate.
- To work with an ethos of "Right First Time" always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, with good quality workmanship and standard of performance.
- To organise your work to minimise lost or non-productive time, and highlight proactively if you have too much or too little work so that work can be re-allocated.
- To assist in addressing peaks and troughs in workload by working overtime and participating in a stand-by or call-out rota.
- To use your initiative to diagnose and undertake a repair which may differ from the job required or where the job type is more complex, obtaining approval where appropriate for more expensive or longer-than-expected jobs.
- To work to a consistently high standard of workmanship in line with service specification, service standards, safe working procedures and as part of a team to ensure efficient use of time, materials and resources.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Full manual UK driving licence
- Experience of working competently in all disciplines normally expected of a qualified joiner, along with other associated building disciplines as required
- Relevant qualification and experience, e.g. City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery or NVQ Level 2
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Experience of maximising number of jobs completed and repairs completed in one visit

- Starting salary: £31,166 per annum (Pay increase pending April 2026)
- Starting salary 4 on 4 off: £35,377.62 per annum (Pay increase pending April 2026)
- Company van available for personal use
- 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays
- Scheduled between 08:00 and 19:30 across any five days from Monday to Saturday. The exact schedule will depend on business needs
- Shift patterns include Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm, or 4 on / 4 off shifts from 8:00am - 8:00pm
