We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Support Officer to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to older and vulnerable customers. This role is central to helping customers maintain independence, build life skills, and move towards sustainable, independent living in accommodation that meets their needs.
Please note this is a part time role consisting of 18.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service and personalised housing‑related support to older and vulnerable residents
- Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing, enabling customers to maintain their tenancy and live safely in their own homes
- Identify individual support needs and risks, including for customers with complex needs or challenging behaviours, and develop effective support plans
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations, implementing early intervention and prevention strategies to reduce future risk
- Liaise, coordinate and negotiate with a wide range of professionals and agencies including adult health and social care, care providers, children's services (where relevant), community organisations, and internal teams
- Support residents to access benefits, financial support, health services, social activities, and community resources
- Support and encourage participation in social, recreational, educational and wellbeing activities to reduce isolation and strengthen community connections
Qualifications
- A full manual UK driving licence
- Experience within a support role (desirable)
- Experience supporting vulnerable or older customers
- The ability to cope with challenging behaviour/resistance
- An awareness of safeguarding
