- Assist qualified electricians with repairs, installations, and upgrades across our housing stock
- Support residents by ensuring homes are safe and compliant, from lighting to power systems
- Attend college to complete your Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- Learn to carry out safety checks, fault diagnostics, and compliance testing under supervision
- Follow health & safety and safeguarding protocols, especially when working in occupied homes
- Communicate professionally with residents and colleagues, representing the housing association with care and respect
We are looking for someone who has…
- You should be either applying to, enrolled or a student in a local college to Blackburn
- A genuine interest in electrical work and helping people
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and work in varied environments
- Respect for residents and commitment to excellent service
- Determination to complete the full apprenticeship programme

Please note this role is a 3 year fixed term contract
- Salary: During the first year of the apprenticeship, the compensation will be £7.55 per hour, equating to an annual salary of £14,526.20. PLEASE be aware that this is regardless of age.
- In the 2nd year salary Under 18, £7.55 per hour and annually, £14,526.20. £10 per hour, annual salary £19,240.00 (Aged 18-20) or (for those aged over 21) £12.21 per hour, annual salary £23,492.04
