We are looking for a People Business Partner who will work closely with agency leadership teams to support organisational growth, build strong people practices, and drive a high-performance culture across the group.

Role Overview

The People Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to agency leaders across the Together Group portfolio, aligning people initiatives with business goals. The role requires a strong generalist HR background with solid knowledge of UK employment law, experience supporting organisational development and change, and ideally experience working within multi-agency or group structures. A key part of the role is building trusted relationships with senior leaders. The successful candidate will demonstrate high emotional intelligence, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and strong judgement when advising on sensitive people matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Partnership: Partner with agency leadership teams to deliver people strategies aligned with business and growth objectives. Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders and agency founders, acting as a credible and commercially minded advisor. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team structures. Use high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal awareness to influence, challenge, and support leaders effectively.
  • Organisational Development & Change: Support organisational design, restructures, and change programmes across the group. Lead initiatives that improve engagement, performance, and culture. Work with leaders to build capability, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations & Employment Law: Provide expert guidance on UK employment law, policies, and best practice. Manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant people processes across agencies.
  • Talent & Performance: Support agencies with talent management, performance reviews, and development planning. Partner with leadership teams to identify skills gaps and support workforce planning. Contribute to group-wide initiatives around learning, development, and career progression.
  • Collaboration Across the Group: Work closely with the central People team and HR colleagues across agencies to ensure alignment of policies and practices. Support the implementation of group-wide people initiatives and systems. Share best practices and promote a collaborative people culture across the agency network.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a People Business Partner / HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical application in employee relations.
  • Experience supporting organisational development, change, or transformation initiatives.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate complex people dynamics and sensitive situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Excellent coaching, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in a group structure or across multiple agencies/business units.
  • Background in creative, marketing, media, or communications sectors.
  • Experience supporting high-growth or entrepreneurial businesses.
