Our values of Collaboration, Choice, Integrity, Resilience and Continuous Improvement are at the heart of everything we do.
We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Recovery Worker to join an innovative new Serious Mental Illness (SMI) Rehabilitation Project, supported by £1.25 million of investment and designed to improve outcomes for people living with complex psychosis.
This pioneering project brings together partners from health, social care and the voluntary sector, including Together for Mental Wellbeing, Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk County Council, Change Grow Live and Norfolk Community Law Service.
Working from a dedicated hub within the new £45 million River Centre development at Hellesdon Hospital, the service will initially support people across the City, South and North Norfolk areas.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
As a Senior Recovery Worker, you will work alongside people experiencing significant mental health challenges, helping them identify their strengths, make informed choices and achieve the outcomes that are important to them.
You will be part of a truly integrated multidisciplinary team comprising legal advisers, specialist support workers, occupational therapists, nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists.
Together, you will develop creative and person-centred approaches that improve wellbeing, reduce barriers and support recovery.
LIVING OUR VALUES EVERY DAY
Collaboration – Achieving Together
You will work closely with colleagues, partner organisations and local services to provide coordinated, holistic support. You will build meaningful relationships that help people access the right support at the right time.
Choice – Through Involvement
You will empower individuals to lead their own recovery journey by using person-centred planning tools, listening to what matters to them, and supporting them to make informed decisions about their future.
Integrity – Doing What We Say
You will build trusted relationships through honesty, transparency and consistency, ensuring that support is delivered respectfully and reliably.
Resilience – Never Giving Up on People
You will support people facing complex challenges, recognising strengths, promoting hope and maintaining a recovery-focused approach even when circumstances are difficult.
