Location: Great Yarmouth

Salary: £12 - £14.75 dependent on experience

Hours: 15.5 hours per week (Monday 8:30 - 1:30pm, Tuesday 8:30 - 1pm, Wednesday 8:30 - 2:30pm)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our practice as either a Trainee Dental Nurse or a Qualified Dental Nurse. Whether you're already a GDC-registered Dental Nurse looking for your next opportunity, or you're looking to begin a rewarding career in dentistry, we'd love to hear from you. At our practice, we are passionate about developing talent and providing exceptional patient care. For trainee applicants, we offer a structured pathway into dental nursing through an apprenticeship programme or, where appropriate, a recognised diploma programme, supported by our experienced clinical team.

The Role

  • Support our dentists and clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to the highest clinical standards.
  • Deliver an excellent experience for every patient.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

For Trainee Dental Nurses

No previous dental experience is required, although experience in customer service or healthcare is advantageous. We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Eager to learn and develop a career in dentistry.
  • Friendly, caring, and professional.
  • Excellent communicators with strong organisational skills.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Committed to completing a recognised Dental Nursing qualification.

You will have:

  • A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
  • Current GDC registration.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to support colleagues and patients alike.

Additional qualifications such as Dental Radiography or Oral Health Education are welcomed but not essential.
