The Opportunity

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our amazing team at our Norwich Earlham Road practice. Our Practice Team sits at the heart of our business, and we want everyone to feel as though their role is a vocation - not just a job.
Monday - Thursday: 08:00am - 17:30pm. Friday: 08:00am - 16:30pm.
Main goals and purpose:
- Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience.
- To present a well organised reception area, maintain positive company cash accounts and a wide patient base.
- To gain, build and contribute exceptional organisational, administration and professional responsibility to organise whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensure dental appointments are booked in for patients and their records are maintained up to date.
- Help coordinate the dentist's schedule.
- Ensure continuity and smooth running of the practice and follow procedures, policies and protocols to maintain this.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual, who has strong receptionist or administration experience - along with the following requirements:
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- The ability to use and operate a computer-based system.
- Knowledge of working with systems would be advantageous.
- Be willing to learn and progress.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and use initiative.
- A well-presented and motivated individual who enjoys working independently and within a great team.
