We are recruiting for a Decontamination Assistant to join Together Dental in Great Yarmouth. This is a full‑time role (8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday) focusing on the decontamination and sterilisation of all dental instruments and medical devices in compliance with practice policies.
Decontamination Duties
- Decontamination and sterilisation of all medical devices in line with practice policies
- Inspect, package, store and rotate dental instruments
- Work alongside the practice manager, senior nurses and other staff to maintain sufficient equipment
- Store sterilised instruments in the ‘clean’ containers in the decontamination room
- Comply with all health and safety, fire, security and other regulations
- Perform daily tests on processing equipment
- Assist with cleaning treatment rooms as per the cleaning schedule
