The Opportunity
Are you looking to develop your skill‑set and join one of the fastest growing dental groups in the UK? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our amazing team at our Basildon practice. Our Practice Team sits at the heart of our business, and we want everyone to feel as though their role is a vocation – not just a job.
Monday – Thursday: 08:45 am – 17:45 pm. Friday: 07:45 am – 16:15 pm.
Main goals and purpose:
- Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience
- Presenting a well‑organised reception area
- Maintaining positive company cash accounts and a wide patient base
- To gain, build and contribute exceptional organisational, administrative and professional responsibility and to maintain confidentiality
- Ensure dental appointments are booked in for patients, manage their records and keep them up to date
- Help coordinate the dentist’s schedule and ensure continuity and smooth running of the practice by following procedures, policies and protocols
Requirements
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual with strong receptionist or administration experience, as well as the following:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to use and operate a computer‑based system
- Knowledge of working with systems would be advantageous
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
- Excellent attention to detail and initiative
- A well‑presented and motivated individual who enjoys working independently and within a great team
