What You\’ll Do

• Provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing home for children with disabilities, including those with complex medical needs.
• Accurately monitor and record health observations (e.g., vital signs, specific symptoms), escalating any concerns immediately to the appropriate channels.
• Administer prescribed medication following all policy and procedure guidelines, ensuring meticulous and auditable record-keeping.
• Support children\’s emotional, physical, and social development, adapting care routines to meet individual health and mobility requirements.
• Work as part of a committed team to deliver high-quality care and promote independence while ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
• Help create positive outcomes for the young people in our care.

What We\’re Looking For

• Kind, reliable, and resilient individuals with a genuine passion for working with children, especially those requiring specialised health support.
• Experience in a care setting and/or working with children with complex needs or medication administration is highly desirable, but full specialised training will be provided.
• The flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• A relevant qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, is a plus, but a willingness to learn and commit to specialised health training is what matters most.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
